Smile Design
The aesthetics of one's smile is undoubtedly one of the most important components of facial aesthetics. A beautiful face and a beautiful smile not only complete facial aesthetics but also have a positive impact on one's psychology, elevating their self-confidence.
When designing a smile, dentists should be aware of this responsibility and use all available resources to implement the most accurate plan that meets their patients expectations and can make them happy. Aesthetic dentistry is therefore crucial and often requires a multidisciplinary approach.

Smile design involves restoring teeth and gums that have been aesthetically compromised for various reasons, considering patients' facial features and requirements to achieve the most natural and beautiful appearance possible. Factors such as lip level, tooth size, gum level, tooth color, tooth alignment, the harmony of the lips and teeth when smiling, and the smile line's alignment play a significant role in aesthetic smile analysis.

HOW IS SMILE DESIGN PERFORMED?
Understanding the patient's aesthetic expectations accurately is crucial when designing a smile. Models are prepared based on measurements taken from the patient's mouth to identify problems and make plans. Then, using computer programs with the patient's intraoral and facial photographs, analyses are performed to present the patient with the most likely images after treatment, prepared according to the actual mouth shape, along with temporary restorations. Their opinions are then collected. After the planning phase is completed, necessary interventional procedures are performed.
